We were honored
to have Carl "Cam" Cameron join us for the 2006 Mopar show and we were
truely saddened to hear of his passing in early September 2006. Below
are the links
for pictures of each show, including some of Carl and his wife Suzanne.
Thank you for your support and we hope to see
you next year.
Thank you to Cameron Moore for his kind words below, in memory of Carl Cameron. He will truely be missed.
In memory of Carl "Cam" Cameron, retired designer with Chrysler
On September 5, 2006 the
automotive world saw the passing of a world class stylist and
automotive designer, Carl "Cam" Cameron. With Carl's many years
with Chrysler he helped bring us the 1966 Dodge Charger, 1967 Dodge
Dart, and 1970 Dodge Challenger in addition to his work in product
identity in Chrysler.
Carl
was full of conversation and facts on many of the cars us hobbyists
enjoy today. He was very approachable and always eager to pose
for a picture with a car owner or sign something for them about their
car.
When
we drive our cars that he influenced we can almost hear his distinctive
voice and see his white hair as if he were in the passenger seat of our
car.
Gone
but not forgotten his memory will live on in our hearts! Our
thoughts and prayers are also with his wonderful wife Suzanne, and
family.
